Do I Need to Bring My Own Helmet When Renting a Motorcycle in Tenerife?
At Easy Rider Tenerife, we provide open-face helmets equipped with built-in visors to ensure your safety while riding. Currently, due to COVID-19 precautions, we recommend these helmets, so there’s no need to worry about goggles. Additionally, we offer gloves and fleece jackets upon request. However, we encourage you to bring your own riding gear as our stock is limited.
Is Fuel Included in the Motorcycle Rental Price?
When you pick up your motorcycle in Tenerife, the tank will be full, and we expect it to be returned full as well. If you return the bike without a full tank, a refueling fee of €25 will apply. For guided tours, the cost of fuel is included in the tour price, providing additional ease during your adventure.
What Kind of Insurance Do the Bikes Have?
A security deposit of €1,200 will be taken per bike during your rental. This amount covers the liability excess and any damage due to neglect or non-standard wear. The deposit is held on your card and refunded upon the bike’s return, pending the inspection of any discrepancies.
What Happens If I Am Not Responsible for Damage?
Upon picking up the motorcycle, we will inspect it together for any existing damage or scratches. A second inspection will take place when you return the bike. If any new damage is found during your rental period, it will be deemed your responsibility. However, if the damage is caused by a third party, you will need to complete a friendly accident report with them, and your deposit will be withheld until we confirm responsibility through the insurance company.
